Local Admin Accounts
Local Administrator accounts appear in the Evo Portal only after the Evo Agent has been installed on at least one device. Once an agent is deployed, you can view these accounts by navigating to: Tenant → Vault → Local Accounts.

Password Rotation Settings
In the Local Accounts list, locate the desired local administrator account and click the pencil (Edit) icon to open Password Rotation settings. From here, you can:
- Rotate Now (one-time): Immediately rotate the password once.
- Set Rotation Frequency: Configure a recurring rotation schedule and Save your frequency.
- Stop Rotation: Disable password rotation for this account.

Note: The minimum character length for the Local Admin password rotation is set to 12. If you require a longer password, you can adjust the “Local Account Password Length” Policy that lets you Set the minimum password length required for local accounts. Read more about our Policies HERE
Manage a Local Administrator Account
When you select a Local Administrator account, the following actions are available:
- Rotate Now: Immediately forces a one-time password rotation.
- Apply Rotation Configuration: Choose and apply a Rotation Frequency for ongoing, scheduled rotations.
- Change Type: Relabel the account as New, End User, MSP, or Service.
- Demote: Remove this account’s administrative rights.
- Delete: Remove the Local Administrator entry from the Evo Portal.
