Identity Provider (IdP) Login
Overview: Identity Provider (IdP) Login
IdP Login refers to the process by which users authenticate into a system using their identity credentials managed by an external Identity Provider (IdP). In Evo Security's platform, this enables secure and centralized access to integrated applications and systems, supporting modern authentication standards such as SAML 2.0. This article will help walk you through setting up those iDP tiles for your users.
Configuration
To get started, log in to your Evo Portal and navigate to your designated tenant. From there, select the Applications tab within the tenant dashboard. This is where you can begin configuring WS-Federation, SAML, SSO, and other supported protocols by clicking the "New +" button in the top-right corner.

From this section, you can configure your WS-Federation, SAML, SSO, which will appear as tiles within the IdP login portal for end users.
Below are a few examples of applications you can configure as IdP login tiles:
- IT Glue, Salesforce , etc

Once your WS-Federation, SAML, or SSO configurations have been completed, you will be directed to a page displaying all of your active applications.

To configure application permissions, click the user (person) icon located on the far right of the application entry.

By default, this section is set to "Allow All", meaning all users have access to the applications. Modifying this by selecting specific users or groups and clicking Save will restrict access to only those selected, limiting visibility and usage to the specified audience.

Now that your applications have been created and permissions configured, users can begin accessing the available IdP tiles. When users sign in to your Evo Portal, they will be directed to their personalized User Portal, where all configured application tiles will be available for seamless access.

If you are already an administrator, you can access your User Portal by clicking on your profile icon in the top-right corner and selecting "Switch to User Portal" from the dropdown menu.

That’s it! You can now begin using your newly configured IdP tiles.
